School in Israel...

So a really good friend of mine left for Tel Aviv, Israel this past Saturday. So last Friday we had a little get together for him, had some drinks, played poker, and just chilled like a regular night. It was so nice we all got to do that for him before he left. It was finally 1am and we were all getting tired, so my friend Fred said that we had a little something for
him in the kitchen. We all walked in the kitchen and there were 11 champagne glasses for all of us. We made a toast for Brian and hoping for a safe trip and for his future. So then he really had to leave because he had so much stuff to do before his flight. He gave me a hug and i just balled my eyes out!!!!!

I didn't think I was going to cry at all cuz I haven't hung out with him a lot this summer, but we were
very close since 2002 when I first moved to South Jersey, and I always thought of him
as a brother of mine since he was always there for me no matter what. But yeah, its crazy how we are all
doing our own thing now and preparing for the future. But I do wish him a safe trip and safe stay over there in Israel.

So a friend of mine showed me this article about Bagelheads!! I had no idea what it was
until I saw the picture! yikes!! I don't want to be judgmental, but this is just nuts. I mean it is their own body/face, anyone can do whatever they want to themselves. I just don't think I would go this far just because it's a fad and whatnot.

Ok guys so here is the question:
What outrageous thing have you done or would like to do to yourself/body?
Would you even think about doing this to your face???

It will be 11 Years in November since Dave and I have been together!! Am I excited?? Heck yeah I'm excited! We've been together for so long and our feelings for each other is still the same. We did have our ups and downs this year but we really always work things out. A lot of our friends always envy what we have but in a relationship it's really all about trust, love and time.

As for marriage, again, we are both in no rush. We are both very content with where we are now. Marriage will come when we are both ready to take that giant step. Which will probably be a few years from now :)

I still remember the first time Dave asked to be his girlfriend! It was the cutest thing ever and i will never forget it. In the meantime, I need to plan something really cute for our anniversary guys, so ideas and suggestions are highly appreciated :)

So I baked this for a friend of mine for her birthday!
Very kawaii right?! i love them and they were actually pretty good too!
I used the rainbow and yellow cupcake batter. I used 3 types of different icing on the cupcakes.
I used chocolate, lemon and cream cheese icing.
yum yum yum nom nom nom!
I would love to make some more, but there isnt any special occasion to make them, I think
I'm just going to make next weekend for Dave.
Baking is pretty fun, but I like doing the decorating part.

milo & missing new york

So I bought Milo about a year ago a few weeks after I moved in with Dave!
He was only a few months old and now he is already a year and a few months old!
He is pretty feisty now and loves to get attention from everyone, he also loves to play and still likes to
bite sometimes ahaha. But he is soooo freakin' adorable though! Dave and I are already thinking about
what dog to get next when we finally buy a house maybe in about a year or 2
I know Dave definitely wants a bigger dog and so do I. We were both thinking about a husky or
maybe even an english bull dog. Any suggestions guys?

One weekend, Dave and I decided to go to NY to see his mom and visit Zed. I miss NY dammit!
I loved taking pics of everything and just random people doing their thing. It's so colorful and so lively in NY, so much to take pictures of! Here are some pics we took while we were there.

So, I took my friends engagement pictures for the first time in 5 years! The last time I took engagement photos was when I used to work for LifeTouch Studios in Deptford Mall. But it felt good relearning how to pose and learning how to use my camera. I also started shooting in RAW, since the pictures come out better when you edit the RAW files. Oh by the way, I have upgraded my camera, I now use a Canon 50D with the kit lens and I have a flash attachment that came with it, as well as a 75-300 mm zoom lens. I'm still so new to using it, I dont understand all the settings yet, so if you have any tips on this camera, feel free to leave some. I would sooooo appreciate it.

So I'm watching tropic thunder with dave and his mom. I didn't like it that much when I saw it in theatres, but I'll give it another chance and watch it again. Did anyone else like this movie?

So I just recently bought this iblogger app for my iPhone. I really do want to blog as much as I can but I'm usually not on the computer as much, so that's the reason why I bought this app :). I do miss xanga and I hope I can blog more on here. As for pictures, I can only upload one per blog entry LOL. But they need to update that asap :p

So what's new? Dave and I decided that we are planning on selling the condo and buying a house! This is so exciting and I'm also a little nervous about it. Wish us luck guys and I hope we find a good house. Other than that , I started my new job a few months ago, I am now a certified substitute teacher for a public school and I love it so much.:) it's definitely good money but I honestly love working with the kids. U think I might plan on becoming a pre-k teacher.
